Early Childhood Educator

Job Details

  • Closing Date: 20th October 2026
  • Contract Type: Temporary until 29th October 2027
  • Salary: £26,172 - £28,309
  • Hours: 26.25 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Childhood Educator to join Cambusbarron Nursery Class. This position is 26.25 hours, term time and temporary to cover maternity leave - however additional hours will be required.

The successful candidate will be required to work on a shift basis between 8am-6pm from Monday- Friday.

Responsibilities

Candidates should have the skills, knowledge and experience of supporting children’s learning and development in a busy early learning and childcare setting.

You will be nurturing, understanding, compassionate and patient as well as dedicated and enthusiastic to meet the needs of children and families.

You will work as an effective team member and establish positive relationships with staff, children, families and professional agencies. Prior knowledge of supporting children with additional support needs is desirable.

The successful candidate will need to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
