Mayfield Early Education Sydenham are seeking a fun & highly motivated Early Childhood Teacher to join our incredible team.

The Opportunity

  • Design and implement developmentally appropriate and stimulating lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn.
  • Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of educators to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of children's development, maintain accurate records, and use this information to inform and adapt teaching strategies.
  • Stay current with best practices in early childhood education through continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

You

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, or ACECQA approved equivalent, OR Diploma Qualified & and working towards a Bachelor of Early Childhood or ACECQA Approved qualification, OR more than 50% working towards a Bachelor of Early Childhood or ACECQA Approved qualification.
  • Valid VIT registration.
  • Proven experience with EYLF, NQF and Child Safe Standards.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
