The Early Help Advice line offers advice, support, and guidance for families and professionals in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The team offers a personal service aimed at listening to the needs of each family. By working with parents / carers / professionals, the team supports individuals to resolve their concerns independently or identify other services that can offer support.

About The Role

Pay Details: Grade 6: SCP – 14 – 19 (£29,540-£32,061) p.a. £15.31 - £16.62 Per Hour

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 37 hours

Main Place of Work: Barry Community Enterprise Centre

Temporary Reason: Families First grant funded until March 2028.

Description

To provide advice and guidance to families/carers, initially by telephone, in line with the Families First guidance, relevant national standards, and local and national legislation and guidance.

About You

You will need:

  • Experience of working in an appropriate statutory/voluntary setting with children/young people and families.
  • 5 GCSEs grades C and above or equivalent.
  • High level of personal motivation and ability to motivate others.
