The Role
Multiverse is expanding its Early Talent (ET) offering in England, with the goal of delivering more apprenticeships to people at the start of their career. The Early Talent Lead owns the strategy and its delivery across the business. They are part of the CEO Office, reporting to the Chief of Staff, as a part of our Growth workstreams.
The role is both commercial and operational. It leads a cross-functional squad across the end-to-end business, succeeding through influence rather than line management. The right person will be highly strategic and able to think big picture, but also not afraid to roll their sleeves up to quickly get things done. They will care deeply about create opportunities for young people, whilst understanding how to navigate the realities of business to turn this into a sustainable product.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the strategy
- Design and own the plan for how we grow our ET products in a scalable and commercial way
- Be the eyes and ears of ET in the market, understanding customer feedback to help us iterate and improve upon our offer
- Keep across all developments in the space from a policy and regulatory perspective, in collaboration with our Policy team
- Design the end-to-end operational journey and lead the cross-functional squad to deliver on it
- This to include designing, managing and overseeing the end-to-end processes with:
- Marketing to drive lead generation
- Sales leadership and the account executives
- Fulfilment, owning funnel conversation and launch
- Operations, owning customisations and coaching structure
- Learning designing the programmes
- Safeguarding
- Product designing the tech customisations
- PR / comms
- Partner, build or buy adjacent ET plays in response to market demand
- Scope alternative routes to market beyond apprenticeships that could enhance our products
- Own the end-to-end deal and implementation process with support from the relevant cross-functional teams
- Be the external face of Early Talent
- Promote Multiverse’s ET offer on panels and at relevant events
- Work with comms to build our ET brand in a way that compliments our broader AI workforce transformation narrative

About You
- A builder’s mindset – you thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and are excited to shape processes as you go
- Strong relationship-building skills – you excel at identifying opportunities, developing trust, and influencing decision-makers
- A scrappy, entrepreneurial approach – you’re comfortable wearing multiple hats and solving problems creatively
- A commercial and operational track record, including budget or P&L ownership and launching new products to market
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, with an ability to strategically navigate tradeoffs in support of the organisation’s goals (not just those of the workstream you own)
- Highly credible with HR and Talent leaders, and comfortable representing Multiverse externally
- Deep experience in entry-level hiring and training, ideally in the Enterprise space, and the challenges that are faced by both businesses in hiring career-starters and the young people themselves.
