Join us as an Early Talent Strategy Manager
We’ll look to you to manage the enterprise early talent strategy, building future-ready talent pipelines aligned to our strategic workforce needs across our graduate, intern, and apprenticeships programmes.
Influence and lead the enterprise-wide apprenticeship strategy and external ecosystem, maximising levy utilisation, and managing key external partnerships.
This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact by leading the graduate and intern strategy across attraction, university engagement, recruitment, and development.
This is a full-time, hybrid position so you'll work from home some of the time, coming into the office at least two days per week to collaborate closely with your colleagues.
What you'll do
As an Early Talent Strategy Manager, you’ll manage the enterprise-wide strategy, standards, and guardrails for all early talent pathways, including interns, apprentices, and graduates. You’ll ensure these pathways integrate seamlessly with wider talent ecosystem and strategic workforce plans, strengthening the overall talent pipelines and building future skills. By setting clear definitions, minimum criteria, and programme design principles, you’ll also drive consistency, quality, and commercial discipline across all early talent programmes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
