Fixed Term – 22.2 Hours per week

Salary:

£32,753.97 to £42,917.84 per annum / Full Time Equivalent
£19,652.38 - £25,750.70 per annum / pro rata

Location:

Tamworth (B79 7LP)

South Staffordshire College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to support, teach, and assess apprentices working towards Level 3 Early Years Educator and L5 Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship Standards.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful Early Years team. The role involves delivering teaching across Tamworth and Cannock campuses, conducting workplace reviews and observations, and preparing apprentices for End Point Assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Teamwork
  • Ability to work independently

Requirements:

  • Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS)
  • Assessor qualification (A1 or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching at Level 3
  • Experience assessing in the workplace is desirable
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Familiarity with Smart Assessor is an advantage; however, training can be provided.
