Early Years Educator: Lambeth September 2026

Location: Lambeth, near Clapham South

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time, Long-term, Potential Permanent Opportunity

Pay: GBP 100-GBP 120 per day, depending on experience

About the Role

Early Years Educator - Level 3 Qualified

A friendly, inclusive, and well-established primary school in Lambeth is looking to appoint a passionate Early Years Educator to join its EYFS team from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years Educator who enjoys creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where young children can develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive Early Years team, helping to deliver high-quality learning through play, structured activities, and meaningful interactions.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Early Years Educator, you will:

  • Support children within Nursery or Reception throughout the school day
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Encourage communication, language development, and positive social interaction
  • Support early phonics, literacy, and mathematical development
  • Help maintain stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments
  • Observe children's progress and contribute to assessment and learning records
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

What We're Looking For

The successful Early Years Educator must:

  • Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or an equivalent recognized qualification
  • Have experience working with young children in an EYFS, nursery, or primary school setting
  • Have a secure understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Be enthusiastic, nurturing, and able to build strong relationships with children
  • Be confident using initiative while working effectively as part of a team
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children's early development
