Are you a passionate early years practitioner looking to continue to develop your career in an award-winning nursery setting? Nursery on the Heath (Bright Stars) have a great opportunity to train as an Early Years Educator Apprentice and gain your level 3 whilst supporting children's learning, play and development and building key relationships.
Nursery on the Heath are seeking a warm, enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice with a genuine passion for working with children and a desire to complete a Level 3 Early Years qualification.
About the Role
As a Nursery Apprentice, you will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, playing an active role in children’s learning and development. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a key person for a group of children
- Supporting planning, observations, and assessments
- Ensuring the safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing of all children at all times
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment in line with the EYFS Statutory Framework
- Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Nursery on the Heath is a private day care setting located in the quaint village of Hatfield Heath.
The nursery provides a cosy home from home environment for children to grow and develop. The nursery is split across two levels, with the baby room downstairs with a large play area and a separate sleep room. The toddler room is located upstairs and has a range of resources. Older children enjoy a large and spacious barn where no two days are the same and there are plenty of activities for children to enjoy.
There are lots of opportunities for outdoor learning with daily trips to the local community field. Children also benefit from regular trips to the local care home, Hatfield Haven, and love meeting the residents.
