Early Years Inclusion Support Practitioner
Brent, London | £40,182-£42,060 pro rata | Term Time Only | FTC to March 2029
Panoramic Associates is supporting Brent Council with the appointment of two Early Years Inclusion Support Practitioners to join their Early Years Inclusion Support Team.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional with strong SEND experience to move into a wider outreach role, supporting nurseries, childminders and Early Years settings across the borough.
The role will involve:
- Observing and supporting children with a range of SEND, including more complex needs.
- Advising SENCOs, practitioners and managers on appropriate strategies, interventions and next steps.
- Modelling good practice and helping settings strengthen their SEND provision.
- Supporting the graduated approach and wider SEND processes, including EHCP requests and access to additional support.
- Working closely with parents, carers and multi-agency professionals.
- Supporting transitions into mainstream nursery and Reception.
- Providing constructive challenge to settings where provision needs to improve.

We're looking for someone with:
- Strong Early Years and SEND experience - this could have been gained within a nursery or individual Early Years setting.
- Good knowledge of EYFS, the SEND Code of Practice and relevant Early Years/SEND legislation.
- Experience supporting children with complex or additional needs.
- Confidence advising, coaching and constructively challenging other practitioners.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with families and professionals.

QTS is not required, and previous local authority/advisory experience isn't essential. This could particularly suit an Early Years SENCO, Nursery SENCO, SEND/Inclusion Practitioner or experienced Early Years practitioner looking to take their expertise across a wider range of settings.
Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2029
Hours: 36 hours, term-time working (39 weeks)
Salary: £40,182-£42,060 pro rata, including London weighting
Location: Across the London Borough of Brent
