Early Years Learning & Childcare Safeguarding Administration Officer
(Administration) | 10343 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £25,989 to £26,403 per annum | Grade D | County Hall, Norwich
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an efficient and highly organised individual to join the Early Years Service Assistant team within the Early Years Learning and Childcare Service.
The successful candidate will provide administration support to the project Early Years Operation Encompass. This includes day-to-day support for the Early Years Safeguarding Manager, such as diary management, organisation of events and a variety of administrative tasks. Collaboration with other Early Years Service Assistants will be an essential part of this role. This role includes regularly early morning starts, and working hours will be arranged to reflect the operational need.
We are seeking an individual with specific skills and attributes. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside a personable manner and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Practiced IT skills and previous office experience are required, enabling the candidate to “hit the ground running”.
