Our BRAND NEW nursery, Banana Moon Day Nursery in Royston is looking for passionate and qualified Early Years Nursery Practitioners/Nursery Nurses at Level 3 to join our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive environment committed to providing exceptional care and education to young children.
About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Early Years Nursery Practitioner, qualified to Level 3, with a strong passion for early years and proven leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging activities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Providing a warm, caring, and safe environment for children.
- Working collaboratively with the nursery team and supporting children’s individual development.
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers to share progress and support children's needs.

Requirements
- A full and relevant Level 3 early years qualification (as listed by the DfE).
- A DBS enhanced disclosure for the child workforce sector on the update service.
- A 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certificate qualification is preferred, or willingness to complete one.
- Safeguarding training and qualification.
- Experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
Hours
Full time (40 hours) position, between 7.30am - 6.30pm

Annual salary £27,000 - £29,000
