Early Years Practitioner – Bright Horizons Finsbury Park

Location: Finsbury Park, London (Near Finsbury Park & Crouch Hill Rail Stations, 10-min walk from Finsbury Park Tube)

Salary: Starting from £31,158.40 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)


About the Role

Are you passionate about shaping young minds in a collaborative, values-driven environment? Bright Horizons, a Great Place to Work for 13 years, is seeking a dedicated Early Years PractITIONER to join our Ofsted "Good"-rated nursery in Finsbury Park.

Nestled in a light, spacious, one-level nursery with direct outdoor garden access, we prioritise fun, inclusive learning and empower educators to make a tangible difference. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, implement, and review engaging, age-appropriate activities tailored to individual children to progress towards key developmental milestones.
  • Cultivate a safe, creative and nurturing environment where children feel free to explore, collaborate, and grow intellectually.
  • Foster partnerships with colleagues, parents/carers, and external agencies to support children’s holistic development.
  • Ensure adherence to Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), safeguarding policies, and nursery routines.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Full or relevant Level 2/3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • A passion for inclusive education and person-centred learning.
  • Strong alignment with EYFS frameworks and child development professionalsfor evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrable safeguarding expertise (understanding of child protection policies and legislation).
  • Capacity to build trust—with peers, parents, and children—to strengthen collaboration.
  • Commitment to Bright Horizons’ incluisve workplace culture (all backgrounds welcome; reasonable adjustments supported).

Pre-employment checks required:

  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance (mandatory for all roles).
