Early Years Practitioner – Sunderland
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time
Hours: Between 8:00am and 5:00pm
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Education World is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly private nursery in Sunderland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Early Years professional who enjoys creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where young children can learn, play, and develop.
The Role
As An Early Years Practitioner, You Will
- Provide high-quality care and support for children aged 0–5.
- Plan and support engaging activities based around children's interests and development.
- Follow the EYFS framework and contribute to children's learning journeys.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Support children's personal, social, and emotional development.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and stimulating nursery environment.
- Work as part of a supportive and experienced nursery team.

Requirements
- A relevant Early Years qualification, such as Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare/Early Years.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Paediatric First Aid is preferable, but not essential.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and the EYFS.

Working Hours
The nursery operates between 8:00am and 5:00pm, with shift patterns falling within these hours. Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available.
