Early Years Practitioner – St Anthony’s School for Boys (Term-Time Only, Starting January 2027)
About the Role

The nursery, opened in September 2023, has quickly gained popularity, with over fifty pupils currently enrolled. Plans to expand by a further twenty places will require renovations and extensions to classroom space.
This role is part of an enthusiastic, dedicated Early Years Practitioner team joining our fully invested and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and excel in practical implementation.
The position is term-time only, with a start date of January 2027.

- Provide supportive, informative reports on children’s developmental progress using Early Years Outcomes documentation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
