Nursery – Bright Horizons Banstead Day Nursery and Preschool

Location: Banstead, Surrey Salary: £28,274 - £35,214 per annum (dependent on qualification and experience)

About the Role

We’re seeking an Early Years Practitioner to contribute to providing world-class care and education in our purpose-built nursery. The nursery features:

  • Specialist rooms tailored for different developmental stages
  • Plentiful parking
  • Convenient location near the heart of Banstead village, just off the A217

As an Early Years Practitioner here, you’ll design, deliver, and refine engaging, child-centred activities that stimulate growth toward critical milestones. Our vision is to cultivate a safe and stimulating space where children can explore, express themselves, and develop a lifelong passion for learning.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and Implement Learning Activities: Create growth-oriented learning experiences suited for children’s individual needs.
  • Safe and Nurturing Environment: Establish and uphold a safe space for emotional and physical development.
  • Early Learning Focus: Support children in reaching key Early Years Foundation Stage milestones through fun, inclusive approaches.
  • Partnerships: Build positive, transparent collaborative relationships with parents/carers and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Full and relevant Level 2 or higher Early Years qualification.
  • Passion for Early Childhood Education: Strong dedication to fostering diverse, engaging, and inclusive learning environments.
  • Understanding of EYFS: Expert knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Safeguarding Awareness: Proficient knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish trust and effective working relationships.
