We are seeking a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join The Laurels Day Nursery at our Caterham site, a charming nursery in a leafy residential area near Town End Recreation Ground and Caterham Station.


Salary & Location

  • Salary: £28,274 - £35,214 per annum (dependent on qualifications & experience)
  • Location: Caterham, Surrey
  • Facilities: Parent drop-off zone, parking, and easy access via public transport

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

  • Plan, create, implement, and reflect on engaging, child-specific activities to support developmental milestones
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages creativity, learning, and self-expression
  • Help nurture a lifelong love of learning in children

** Qualifications & Requirements**

We are seeking applicants with:

  • Full and relevant Level 2 Early Years qualification (or above)
  • A passion for fun, inclusive learning environments tailored to 0-5-year-olds
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Excellent safeguarding and child protection knowledge
  • Ability to build trust and strong partnerships with parents, carers, and colleagues
