Early Years Teacher
Location: Bexley/Sidcup, London, DA14
Salary: £37,870–£56,154 per annum, plus the applicable September 2026 pay award
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary
Start date: 1 September 2026
Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range.
Transparency Education is seeking an accomplished Early Years Teacher for a nurturing primary school in the Bexley area. This position would suit a qualified teacher with strong EYFS knowledge who can create an engaging, language-rich environment in which young children thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality learning through purposeful play and adult-led teaching.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive and well-organised early years environment.
- Observe and assess children’s learning and plan appropriate next steps.
- Promote communication, language, early reading, phonics and mathematical development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Support children’s personal, social and emotional development.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Recent and successful EYFS teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Secure understanding of early language, phonics and child development.
- Excellent classroom organisation, assessment and communication skills.
