Nursery – Early Years Teacher (Barrow)
Salary & Location
- £30,160 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
- Location: Barrow, near Barrow In Furness train station
About the Role

Key Responsibilities
As an Early Years Teacher, your role will include:
- Planning and delivering stimulating, inclusive learning opportunities tailored to each child’s needs
- Designing and maintaining engaging indoor and outdoor environments that inspire growth
- Conducting effective, accurate assessments aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Building strong partnerships with colleagues, families, and guardians
- Upholding safeguarding policies and protecting children’s welfare

Requirements
Qualifications
Hold one of the following:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
- Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS)
- Full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification
Essential Skills:
- A passion for fun, engaging learning experiences for young children
- Deep knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Strong safeguarding understanding (child protection & welfare)
- Ability to build trust and work collaboratively with teams + families
- Welcoming and adaptable communication style
