Are you a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children in the Early Years?

We are currently recruiting for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Runcorn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping young children learn, develop, and build confidence during those all-important early stages of education.

The Role

Working within the school’s Early Years Provision, you will

  • Support children across the EYFS curriculum through play-based and structured learning activities
  • Work alongside the class teacher to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment
  • Provide individual and small-group support where required
  • Support children’s communication, language, social, and emotional development
  • Help with classroom routines, observations, and learning activities
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

We’re Looking For Someone Who

  • Has previous experience working with children, ideally within an Early Years or primary school setting
  • Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification, or has suitable experience
  • Has a warm, patient, and positive approach
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing
  • Is reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team
