Enfield, North London
Primary school
Long-term, full-time role
ASAP start
8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: £99-£115 per day
Level 3 EYFS qualification required
Previous EYFS experience essential
Paediatric First Aid qualification preferable
Early Years Teaching Assistant: Key Responsibilities
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will
- Support children's learning through engaging, play-based activities.
- Assist with delivering the EYFS curriculum.
- Support children's communication, language and social development.
- Encourage confidence, independence and curiosity.
- Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Support positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Build strong relationships with children and staff.
- Assist with daily routines and classroom activities.
- Monitor children's progress and support their individual needs.

Early Years Teaching Assistant: About You
The successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will have
- Previous EYFS experience: essential.
- A Level 3 EYFS qualification: essential.
- A caring, patient and nurturing approach.
- Good understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS framework.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to play-based learning.
- Ability to build positive relationships with young children.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification: desirable.
- A genuine passion for helping children learn, grow and develop.
