Job Title: Earned Income Trustee
We are seeking an Earned Income Trustee who is entrepreneurial, can identify opportunities, is excited to innovate, can shape new revenue channels and ensure our commercial activity aligns with our mission of improving community cohesion.

What are we looking for?
Essential
- Experience in business development, social enterprise, commercial strategy or revenue generation
- Ability to balance mission with commercial decision-making.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create structured plans from emerging ideas.
Desirable
- Ideally from an events, hospitality, or b2c sales background.
- Understanding of the arts, education, or community sectors.
- Experience launching new services or income streams.
- Experience in managing organisation marketing initiatives.

What will you be doing?
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue earned income opportunities aligned with Kainé’s mission.
- Maintain an opportunity tracker with full pipeline visibility.
- Set targets for each earned income stream and develop strategies to meet them.
- Engage with Operations Committee and community partners to identify growth ideas.
- Provide regular income reports to the Finance Committee and Board.
- Seek feedback from partners and clients, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Attend Finance Committee and Board meetings consistently.
