As an Earth Observation Presales Engineer, you’ll help shape customer solutions that combine satellite imagery, geospatial analytics, and our OpenConstellation and DataCosmos platforms to solve real-world challenges across commercial, government, and institutional sectors.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys blending technical problem-solving with customer engagement in a fast-moving space and data environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting customer discovery sessions to understand operational needs, technical challenges, and EO use cases
  • Helping design Earth Observation solutions using satellite imagery, geospatial services, and analytics capabilities
  • Contributing to feasibility studies, mission simulations, orbital coverage analysis, revisit assessments, and acquisition planning
  • Supporting technical proposals, RFP responses, presentations, demos, pilots, and proof-of-concept activities
  • Working closely with Business Development, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to develop scalable and commercially viable solutions
  • Performing geospatial analysis, imagery assessments, and GIS integrations using EO tools and platforms
  • Supporting customer adoption of the DataCosmos platform and associated data services

What You’ll bring

This role can be based in any location but you MUST be fluent in Spanish.

  • A good understanding of Earth Observation systems, satellite operations, and geospatial technologies
  • Knowledge of EO satellite systems, including Optical and/or SAR technologies and their applications
  • Familiarity with orbital mechanics, satellite coverage analysis, revisit planning, and EO mission concepts
  • Experience with GIS and EO tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, SNAP, STK, SaVoir, or similar platforms
  • Understanding of Python or other scripting languages for geospatial analysis and EO workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate customer needs into practical technical solutions
  • Confidence communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across commercial and engineering teams in a scaling business
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine interest in applying satellite data to real-world problems
