Your Role

  • Manages end-to-end client onboarding onto eBilling platforms, ensuring all requirements are captured, configured, and validated prior to go-live.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for clients during the eBilling onboarding process, managing expectations and resolving queries promptly.
  • Identifies and resolves errors or blockers during the onboarding process, escalating where appropriate to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintains comprehensive and accurate records of all onboarding activity, system configurations, and related documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Sets up and maintains accurate client billing profiles and system configurations across relevant eBilling platforms.
  • Ensures timely submission of invoices and adherence to internal deadlines.
  • Oversees the collation and submission of questionnaires, establishing a structured process to remove ambiguity around team ownership and accountability.
  • Identifies and rectifies errors in submitted invoices, providing necessary corrections with minimal guidance from senior team members.
  • Monitors and updates internal billing schedules to guarantee deadlines are met and invoices are processed promptly.
  • Maintains comprehensive and accurate records of all eBilling transactions and related documents for internal and client audits.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to address billing-related enquiries and ensures the seamless flow of financial data.
  • Partners with clients to establish and manage eBilling systems for new accounts.
  • Develops and prepares detailed reports and data analytics for management to monitor billing efficiency and revenue performance.
  • Contributes to the maintenance and enhancement of billing procedures and protocols to align with industry standards.
  • Drives continuous process improvement to reduce onboarding turnaround times and enhance billing operational efficiency.

About you

  • Proven experience managing client onboarding onto eBilling platforms within a professional services or legal environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of eBilling platforms and client billing portals and the technical requirements clients impose during the onboarding process.
  • Proven experience of working with cross-functional teams to ensure timely submission of invoices and adherence to internal deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and data analytics for management to monitor billing efficiency and revenue performance.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Acted with professionalism and integrity in every aspect of work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with SAP or similar finance systems.
  • Familiarity with e-Billing platforms or legal billing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Working alongside stakeholders across the business, the Finance team is responsible for a wide range of activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning. The team plays a critical role in safeguarding the firm’s financial stability and driving value through data-led insight and financial stewardship. This role offers a variety of responsibilities and projects, providing opportunities for development, cross-functional exposure, and professional growth.
