About the Client

Our client is a top-tier multi-disciplinary engineering and technology consultancy operating across high-hazard, safety-critical, and highly regulated industries. Combining technical brilliance with human-centered thinking, they help clients navigate complex technical challenges in sectors spanning Nuclear, Defence, Energy, and Infrastructure.

In this high-profile dual leadership role, you will combine line management, team leadership, and business growth strategy with technical project oversight. Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Line Management: Oversee, recruit, mentor, and manage a team of specialist engineers, driving capability growth, career development, and resource planning.
  • Technical Project Delivery: Lead C&I and security projects through the entire lifecycle—from concept design to commissioning—ensuring high-quality deliverables within budget and timelines.
  • Client & Commercial Engagement: Act as a key client-facing figure to capture requirements, negotiate agreements, manage risk, and expand consultancy services into new technical sectors.
  • System Design & Verification: Oversee and approve electrical specifications, reports, and complex design packages (SLDs, P&IDs, BCDs, schematics).
  • Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Interface seamlessly with adjacent technical disciplines to deliver integrated, multi-disciplinary solutions on high-hazard sites.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
