EC&I Technician

Permanent, Full Time

Helensburgh

Requirements

  • Do you have an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent?
  • Do you have electrical maintenance experience across motors, switchgear and MCC/control panels?
  • Would you be comfortable working in a COMAH / hazardous environment?

What will you be doing?

  • Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across critical site infrastructure
  • Maintaining electrical distribution systems, motors, drives, switchgear, MCCs and control panels
  • Supporting control systems and instrumentation maintenance
  • Fault finding, repairs and rectification
  • Completing inspections and maintenance records
  • Supporting site operations and occasional UK travel
  • Working safely in line with legislation and site procedures
  • Supervising other operatives where required

Where will you be doing it?

You'll be joining an organisation operating and maintaining critical oil and fuel infrastructure supporting UK defence operations. The site is highly regulated, with a strong focus on safety, reliability and environmental standards.

What will you need?

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent training
  • 18th Edition (BS7671)
  • Electrical maintenance experience, including motors, switchgear and MCC/control panels
  • 2391 or equivalent inspection and testing qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CompEx EX01-EX04 desirable
  • Instrumentation experience advantageous; training provided
  • Full colour vision required
