eClinical Proposals Sr Manager (proven experience needed)

The eClinical Proposals Senior Manager is responsible for leading the proposal development process from receipt of RFPs/RFIs through proposal submission and subsequent handoff to the delivery team. This role ensures high-quality, compliant, and commercially competitive proposals while managing cross-functional collaboration and supporting team development.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Management
- Lead the end-to-end proposal development process for client RFPs and RFIs.
- Deliver platform, licensing, translation, and eCOA Project Management cost estimates within proposal timelines.
- Coordinate and consolidate input from eCOA subject matter experts and stakeholders.
- Ensure proposals are fully compliant with sponsor requirements outlined in RFP documents and study protocols.
- Monitor and analyze proposal metrics, including win/loss rates, vendor reports, and performance trends.
Client Opportunity Assessment
- Review study protocols, synopses, RFPs, and RFI documentation.
- Identify study design requirements, risks, assumptions, and operational considerations.
- Evaluate service scope and feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities through formal sponsor question-and-answer processes.

Costing and Budget Development
- Ensure all study activities are accurately costed using approved pricing tools.
- Review and approve Fusion strategies, pricing assumptions, and discount structures.
- Validate budgets to ensure commercial competitiveness and operational viability.
Proposal Production
- Prepare and oversee the development of:
- Proposal narratives and response content
- Budget proposals and pricing documentation
- Scope of Work documents and Information Sheets
Team Leadership and Development
- Provide line management and leadership to the proposal team.
- Drive continuous learning, capability development, and team upskilling.
- Build and maintain expertise in opportunity assessment and proposal management.
- Ensure team competency through coaching, mentoring, and performance development.
Strategy and Continuous Improvement
- Lead strategic initiatives focused on innovation, automation, and process improvement.
- Leverage analytics, AI, and technology solutions to improve proposal quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and enhance business performance.

- Salesforce proficiency
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

- Project management experience
- Clinical trial knowledge
- CRO operational experience

Minimum Experience
5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- CRO Operations
- Clinical Trial Management
- Proposal Management
- Business Development Support
- Solutions Architecture
Success Profile
The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen, eCOA expertise, leadership capability, and proposal management experience to deliver high-quality client proposals, drive operational excellence, and contribute to business growth.
