eClinical Proposals Sr Manager (proven experience needed)

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation united by a mission to bring new medicines and treatments to patients faster.

As a values-driven organisation, integrity, collaboration, agility, and inclusion are at the heart of how we work and interact with each other, customers, patients and suppliers.

The eClinical Proposals Senior Manager is responsible for leading the proposal development process from receipt of RFPs/RFIs through proposal submission and subsequent handoff to the delivery team. This role ensures high-quality, compliant, and commercially competitive proposals while managing cross-functional collaboration and supporting team development.

Key Responsibilities

Proposal Management

  • Lead the end-to-end proposal development process for client RFPs and RFIs.
  • Deliver platform, licensing, translation, and eCOA Project Management cost estimates within proposal timelines.
  • Coordinate and consolidate input from eCOA subject matter experts and stakeholders.
  • Ensure proposals are fully compliant with sponsor requirements outlined in RFP documents and study protocols.
  • Monitor and analyze proposal metrics, including win/loss rates, vendor reports, and performance trends.

Client Opportunity Assessment

  • Review study protocols, synopses, RFPs, and RFI documentation.
  • Identify study design requirements, risks, assumptions, and operational considerations.
  • Evaluate service scope and feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities through formal sponsor question-and-answer processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
