Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Ecologist to join a growing, multidisciplinary environmental consultancy with an established and expanding ecology team. The business delivers a wide range of ecological services across development projects, including protected species surveys, habitat assessments, mitigation, licensing, and biodiversity enhancement.

As an Ecologist, you will work across a varied portfolio of projects, undertaking field surveys, producing ecological reports, and providing support throughout the planning and development process. You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, with support from experienced senior ecologists, while continuing to develop your technical skills and professional experience.
This is a great opportunity for an Ecologist looking to progress their career within a supportive and forward-thinking consultancy.
Requirements
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Previous commercial ecology consultancy experience
- Experience undertaking ecological surveys and producing reports
- Good knowledge of UK protected species and relevant legislation
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- Based in or within a commutable distance of the Milton Keynes office
