Ecologist: Reading

An established environmental and infrastructure consultancy is seeking an Ecologist to join its growing team in the South West. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful projects that protect the environment, support sustainable development, and make a tangible difference on the ground. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality ecological services across a wide range of projects. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to ecological surveys, assessments, reporting, and pragmatic mitigation solutions that balance environmental protection with client needs.

This role offers the chance to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking environment, where professional development is encouraged and individual contributions are valued. The Role Includes

  • Planning and undertaking ecological surveys and assessments

  • Contributing to reports, licence applications, and project advice
