The Role

As an Ecologist, you will undertake ecological surveys, produce technical reports, and support the delivery of a wide variety of projects. The Ecologist will provide ecological advice to clients, contribute to Biodiversity Net Gain assessments, and assist with project management. This Ecologist position offers exposure to both fieldwork and office-based consultancy activities while working alongside experienced environmental professionals.

Requirements

  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
  • Experience within ecological consultancy
  • Strong report writing and client communication skills
  • Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning processes
  • Experience undertaking habitat and protected species surveys
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Ability to manage projects and work independently
  • Membership of CIEEM desirable
  • Must live in or within a reasonable commuting distance of the Bristol office
