A leading multidisciplinary environmental consultancy is seeking an Ecologist to join its growing team based in Cambridge. This established business delivers ecology, habitat creation, arboriculture and landscape services across a diverse range of development, infrastructure, public sector and conservation projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Ecologist looking to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive consultancy. The successful Ecologist will work on a variety of projects, undertaking surveys, ecological assessments, technical reporting and supporting the delivery of practical, client-focused solutions. The Ecologist will benefit from exposure to projects of varying scale and complexity while working alongside experienced specialists.

Requirements

  • Degree in Ecology or a related discipline
  • Experience within ecological consultancy or a similar professional environment
  • Good knowledge of UK ecology, legislation and survey methodologies
  • Experience undertaking ecological surveys and producing technical reports
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Ability to undertake site visits and fieldwork as required
  • Must live in or near the Cambridge office location
