This is an excellent opportunity for an Ecologist looking to gain varied consultancy experience within a friendly and supportive team. The Ecologist will be involved in field surveys, ecological assessments, reporting and construction:stage ecological support.
The Ecologist Role Will Involve
- Undertaking protected species, habitat and ornithological surveys
- Supporting ecological impact assessments and planning applications
- Preparing ecological reports, management plans and monitoring documentation
- Working as an Ecological Clerk of Works where required
- Liaising with clients, contractors and other environmental professionals
- Travelling across the Highlands and Islands, with occasional overnight stays

To be considered for the Ecologist position, you will need:
- Relevant degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related subject
- Previous consultancy or relevant fieldwork experience
- Strong survey and report:writing skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Full right to work in the UK
- Living in or within a commutable distance of Inverness
