As a Consultant Ecologist, you will join a supportive and collaborative ecology team, working across a varied portfolio of projects. The role will involve delivering ecological surveys and assessments, supporting Biodiversity Net Gain projects, producing technical reports and providing ecological advice throughout the planning and development process.

The successful Consultant Ecologist will have the opportunity to work on interesting projects while developing their technical expertise and progressing their career within a growing consultancy.

Requirements

To be considered for the Consultant Ecologist position, you will need:

  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related subject
  • Consultancy experience delivering ecological surveys and assessments
  • Experience with protected species and/or habitat surveys
  • Good report:writing and communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Living in or within a commutable distance of Newcastle
