Overview

Currently at Bakerwell we have openings for Ecological staff.

Do you want to join a team that are passionate about ecology and conservation and respect your contribution?

Full Time Ecologist

We are looking for an ecologist with three years experience since joining the industry, to join our Kent office.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate/post graduate degree in a related topic and be a member of CIEEM.

You will hold 1 or more protected species licence/s and be experienced in a range of field surveys and producing professional reports and plans in QGIS.

Ideally, you will also be experienced in compiling Protected Species Licence applications, undertaking biodiversity net gain assessments and managing projects including liaison with clients.

Full Time Graduate – Assistant Ecologist

If you have recently graduated or have one or more seasons experience since entering the industry and are looking to progress your career, we are recruiting in our Kent and Sussex offices.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate/post graduate degree in a related topic and be a student member of CIEEM.

You will be working towards protected species licence/s, through volunteer or seasonal survey experience.

Experience compiling written reports and plans in QGIS is also desirable.

Freelance Ecologist

We are looking for Ecologists and Field Ecologists to provide support in the upcoming season, it is set to be another busy ecology season for Bakerwell Limited with some exciting projects!

We are looking to build a diverse support team who have a range of experience levels and skillsets.

We carry out a wide range of field surveys over the survey season, such as surveys and mitigation schemes for reptiles, bats, great crested newts, birds and badgers.

We are also looking for support with bat sound analysis, report writing and data analysis. In addition, we are also currently working on a number of sites requiring Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and enhancement.

You must hold a relevant degree and (if applying for field surveys or ecological supervision) hold a full driving licence and your own vehicle.
