Ideally also

Location:

  • London - 3 days on site

Rate:

  • £350 p/d

The eCommerce Account Director will lead teams in delivering media planning and buying services specifically tailored for on-retailer campaigns. This role is centred around the strategic activation and management of search campaigns on platforms such as Citrus, Criteo, and Amazon. By leveraging data and insights, the Account Director will shape media strategies that drive measurable outcomes and suit the complexities of the modern marketing landscape. As part of our dynamic team, you'll work in an environment powered by analytics, technology, and a relentless pursuit of breakthroughs for leading brands.

Key responsibilities:

  • Account Leadership & Delivery: Lead the team in delivering client-facing work and operational outputs to high standards while adhering to best practices.
  • Strategic Planning & Business Understanding: Deeply understand client businesses and leverage insights to develop effective retail media strategies.
  • Retail Media Platform Expertise: Provide expertise on Amazon, CitrusAd, and Criteo platforms for planning and performance optimisation.
  • Tesco Retail Media SME Leadership: Oversee and guide Tesco retail media activities, providing strategic insights to maximise impact.
  • Innovation & Proactive Thinking: Stay updated on industry trends and proactively enhance client performance.
  • Client & Partner Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and media partners.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Cultivate a collaborative and high-performing team, focusing on development and accountability.
  • Communication Leadership: Ensure effective communication across clients, partners, and internal stakeholders, and engage senior leadership as needed.
  • Operational Excellence & Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Financial & Process Ownership: Oversee financial processes related to campaign activation, ensuring precision and compliance.
  • Measurement & Performance: Guide optimisation strategies using a solid understanding of measurement frameworks.
  • Workshops & Strategic Contribution: Facilitate client workshops and contribute strategically to planning sessions.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration & Retail Media Integration: Ensure seamless integration across marketing activities and teams.
  • Partner & Product Development: Support the development and testing of commerce solutions with partners like Skai.

  • Experience in media planning and buying for on-retailer campaigns, ideally within an agency or client team.
  • Strong skills in media spend forecasting and activation on platforms like Citrus, Criteo, and Amazon.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and drive insights from multiple sources.
  • Experience with media agency performance forecasting and planning is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Sky Pack and Pack View is a plus.
