We are working with a leading global media organisation to find an experienced eCommerce Account Director to support a major client across retail media and on-retailer campaigns.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior retail media specialist with strong experience across media planning, buying and performance optimisation, particularly across platforms such as Amazon, CitrusAd and Criteo.

The Role

As eCommerce Account Director, you will lead the delivery of retail media planning and activation, ensuring campaigns are strategically aligned to client objectives and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the team in delivering high-quality, client-facing retail media planning and activation work
  • Developing strategic retail media plans aligned to client business objectives
  • Providing senior expertise across Amazon, CitrusAd and Criteo platforms
  • Managing media spend forecasting, planning and activation across retail media campaigns
  • Interpreting complex data from multiple sources to identify actionable insights and optimisation opportunities
  • Guiding campaign optimisation and performance strategies using robust measurement frameworks
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, media partners and internal stakeholders
  • Leading client workshops and contributing to strategic planning sessions
  • Working closely with activation teams to ensure effective campaign delivery
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation and proactively bringing new ideas, platforms and approaches to clients
  • Supporting the development and testing of commerce solutions with technology and media partners
  • Ensuring effective collaboration between retail media and wider marketing teams
  • Overseeing financial and operational processes relating to campaign activation

  • Strong experience in retail media, eCommerce media planning and buying, ideally within an agency or client-side environment
  • Proven experience leading on-retailer media campaigns from planning through to activation and optimisation
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Amazon, CitrusAd and Criteo
  • Experience with Tesco retail media is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of media spend forecasting, planning and performance measurement
  • Ability to analyse complex data and turn insights into clear strategic recommendations
  • Proven experience managing senior client relationships and media partners
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing, developing or mentoring teams
  • Confident facilitating client workshops and strategic planning sessions
