eCommerce Account Lead (Pureplay)

Drive Growth Across Ocado & Amazon for a Leading Food Business

Location: Hybrid | London 2 days
Package: Attractive salary + bonus + benefits

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a highly successful, market-leading food manufacturer currently investing heavily in its commercial capability and digital growth agenda.

As part of this journey, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an eCommerce Account Lead to drive the strategic development of Ocado and Amazon.

This is a high-profile role with significant visibility across the business, offering the chance to shape online growth, influence category strategy, and play a key role in accelerating performance within one of the fastest-growing channels in FMCG.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial relationship with Amazon and Ocado, delivering sustainable sales and profit growth.
  • Develop and execute customer-specific Joint Business Plans aligned to wider company objectives.
  • Lead all commercial negotiations including pricing, promotional planning and investment management.
  • Partner closely with Category, Marketing, Supply Chain and Revenue Growth teams to maximise online performance.
  • Analyse customer and shopper data to identify growth opportunities and improve execution.
  • Drive excellence across search, activation, promotional effectiveness and online visibility.
  • Build trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting.

About You

We are keen to speak with talented FMCG commercial professionals who can demonstrate:

  • Experience managing Amazon, Ocado or other pureplay/eCommerce customers.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of delivering profitable growth.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Confidence analysing data and translating insights into action.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.
  • High levels of energy, curiosity and ambition.
  • A collaborative approach and passion for winning in the digital commerce environment.
