Job Title: eCommerce Analyst
Contract Type: Permanent
Office Based: Chancery Lane | Hybrid Working
Are you a commercially minded analyst who loves turning data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth?
At Whitbread, we're looking for an eCommerce Analyst to join our Commercial Analytics team. Sitting at the intersection of eCommerce, Digital Product and Commercial Performance, this role offers the opportunity to influence millions of pounds worth of revenue by helping shape the future of our digital platforms, customer journeys and online experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly analytical, commercially astute and confident influencing senior stakeholders within a large and complex business.
What you'll be doing:
- Analyse digital performance across our website and app, identifying trends and opportunities relating to traffic, conversion, revenue and customer behaviour.
- Evaluate the impact of product changes, feature releases and optimisation initiatives, measuring commercial benefit and providing recommendations for future improvements.
- Design, measure and interpret tests to improve digital performance and conversion rates.
- Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards that support monitoring of commercial initiatives, marketing activity, customer journeys and user experience programmes.
- Leverage data to generate meaningful insights and support decision-making.
- Partner closely with other teams across Commercial, such as eCommerce, Product, and Performance Marketing, to maximise digital performance and revenue growth.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Present findings and business cases to stakeholders, influencing prioritisation decisions and securing buy-in for change.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, conversion and digital revenue through both strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Promote understanding and adoption of digital analytics tools and insights within the wider Commercial and Marketing teams.

What you'll need:
- Proven experience in a similar high impact analytical role.
- Strong experience analysing digital performance across websites, apps or online customer journeys.
- Excellent commercial awareness, with the ability to connect performance data to revenue and business outcomes.
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and models within a sizeable organisation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge, influence and secure buy-in from senior leaders.
- The ability to move from data analysis to insight, recommendation and measurable business action.
- Experience partnering with Digital Product, eCommerce, Commercial or Marketing teams.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Experience using web analytics tools, ideally Adobe Analytics.
- Experience with data manipulation and visualisation tools such as Databricks and Power BI desired.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence manipulating and interpreting data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for a variety of audiences.
- A curious, proactive mindset with a passion for identifying opportunities and driving continuous improvement.
