We are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing business operating across the agricultural, turf, and ground care sectors, offering a wide range of products from leading industry brands.

This is an exciting opportunity for an eCommerce Assistant to build a career within a growing online sales environment. The role will focus on creating and managing product listings, preparing images, maintaining accurate product specifications, and supporting stock information.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and has a good understanding of stock and product information, with an interest in eCommerce and a desire to learn and progress.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As an eCommerce Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running and development of the online store. You will work closely with a variety of internal teams and suppliers, helping to ensure products are accurately presented, orders are processed efficiently, and customers receive a high level of service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and coordinating product listings using Shopify, including product descriptions and images.
  • Ensuring product information, specifications, and technical details are accurate.
  • Supporting website merchandising, promotions, and online campaigns.
  • Using basic design tools such as Canva and Photoshop to create and update visual content.
  • Coordinating the online merchandise range.
  • Supporting website order fulfilment by liaising with internal departments and suppliers.
  • Responding to customer enquiries through email, telephone, and online chat.
  • Coordinating website and marketplace returns, exchanges, and claims, including eBay.
  • Supporting general eCommerce projects and day-to-day tasks as required.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • An interest in eCommerce and online retail.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including strong grammar.
  • The ability to write clear and engaging product descriptions.
  • A willingness to learn about agricultural, turf, and ground care equipment.
  • The confidence to take ownership of tasks and projects while also working effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience with Shopify, WordPress, or another website content management system would be beneficial, as would experience of stock or ERP systems.
