Ecommerce Assistant | Dropship Buying | London | Hybrid
We are partnering with an established retailer to recruit an Ecommerce Assistant to join its fast-paced Dropship Buying team.
This is a commercially focused role supporting the day-to-day management of products, suppliers, and trading information. The Ecommerce Assistant will work closely with Buyers and suppliers to ensure product, cost, pricing, margin, and supplier data is accurate, while helping the wider team keep trading activity running smoothly.
The role would suit someone highly organized and comfortable working with data who is looking to build a career across Buying, Merchandising, Commercial, or Ecommerce.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to the Dropship Buying team across administrative, operational, and commercial activity.
- Maintain accurate product, cost, retail, margin, and supplier information across relevant systems and spreadsheets.
- Support new product lines, amendments, and commercial changes.
- Identify discrepancies and investigate issues, escalating where required.
- Support supplier administration, including queries, reporting, and general communication.
- Assist Buyers with reporting, analysis, and wider trading activity.
- Maintain trackers, reports, and key working documents accurately and to deadline.
- Work closely with Buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve queries and keep information up to date.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce administration, and increase efficiency.
- Take ownership of allocated tasks and ensure actions are followed through.

Key Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data and spreadsheets.
- Good numerical and analytical ability.
- Confident using Excel; experience with formulas, lookups, and data manipulation would be beneficial.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
- Proactive approach with the initiative to investigate and solve problems.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with internal teams and suppliers.
- Previous experience in Buying, Merchandising, Ecommerce, Commercial, or Retail would be advantageous.
- Experience with dropship, supplier, or product data would be beneficial.
- Power BI or similar reporting experience would be a plus.

The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an Ecommerce Assistant to join an established retail business and develop broad commercial experience across ecommerce, buying, suppliers, and trading.
The role is based in London, with a hybrid working model requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office each week.
