Role: Ecommerce Assistant
Reports to: Head of Ecommerce
Function: Ecommerce & Trading
Please note: We are also open to hearing from candidates with more experience who may be suited to an Ecommerce Executive-level position. The role, responsibilities, and salary can be adapted depending on experience.
Summary
Minka Dink London is a rapidly growing fashion brand based in London. Our aim is to create versatile and timeless clothing to suit every occasion. We are looking for a dynamic, organised, and commercially-minded Ecommerce Assistant to join our growing team in London.
Purpose
The Ecommerce Assistant supports the day-to-day running of the Minka Dink website, helping to ensure products, content, and promotions are accurate, engaging, and launched on time.
Working closely with the Head of Ecommerce, this is a hands-on development role offering experience across website trading, product management, customer service, email marketing, and digital copywriting.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, commercially aware, and confident with writing. This would suit someone with some experience in ecommerce, retail, marketing, or customer service who is keen to develop a career in ecommerce.
Key Responsibilities
Website Trading and Merchandising
- Upload and maintain products, including descriptions, imagery, pricing, sizing, tags, and inventory.
- Write and edit accurate, engaging, and on-brand product descriptions and website copy.
- Create and update product and collection pages.
- Support product launches, promotions, sales, and seasonal website updates.
- Merchandise collections and product listings in line with agreed trading priorities.
- Monitor stock availability and make agreed updates to the website.
- Complete regular website checks across desktop and mobile, reporting and helping to resolve errors.

Customer Experience
- Help oversee the day-to-day customer service function, working closely with our two Customer Service Assistants to ensure enquiries are handled efficiently and within agreed response times.
- Support the Customer Service Assistants with more complex queries across orders, returns, sizing, payments, and deliveries, escalating issues where needed.
- Help maintain a consistently high standard of customer experience across email and social channels.
- Liaise with the Operations team and couriers to help resolve delivery and returns issues.
- Share recurring customer questions and feedback with the wider team.
Email, Advertising, and CRM Support
- Draft clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for email campaigns, paid advertising, and other digital marketing activity.
- Help build, schedule, and test email campaigns in Klaviyo, including product selection and imagery.
- Carry out pre-send checks to ensure copy, links, pricing, and promotional details are accurate.
- Assist with customer segmentation and automated email flows as experience develops.
- Support the creation of ad briefs and copy variations for paid social and search campaigns.
Reporting and Wider Support
- Help prepare weekly ecommerce reports using agreed templates.
- Monitor basic website, product, and email performance and highlight anything requiring attention.
- Support website improvement projects through data entry, content updates, testing, and quality assurance.
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing, Product, and Operations teams.
- Suggest practical improvements to website processes and the customer experience.
Continuous Improvement & Development
- Continuously review ecommerce processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Document new processes and help embed best practice across the ecommerce function.
- Support cross-functional projects with marketing, operations, and customer service teams.
- Take ownership of personal development by building ecommerce, trading, and commercial knowledge.
- Progressively assume responsibility for larger areas of the ecommerce function as experience develops.
- Develop the skills and confidence required to manage the website as a core commercial sales channel.
- Build ecommerce, commercial, and leadership skills through ongoing development, with a clear progression pathway to a more senior role.

About You
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, keen to learn, with a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently.
- Confident writer with an interest in brand storytelling.
- Comfortable across digital platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Shopify are all a bonus).
- Confidence in basic Excel work is preferable.

- Hybrid: 4 days per week in West London Office
- Full-time, permanent
