Ecommerce Assistant
Location: Coventry - 4 days office, 1 day working from home
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
We're looking for an Ecommerce Assistant to join a growing digital team, supporting the day-to-day management and development of a busy ecommerce website. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in ecommerce, whether you have some hands-on experience or are a recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Ecommerce or a related subject.
Working closely with the Ecommerce Manager, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of ecommerce activities, from product management and website merchandising through to reporting, content and online trading.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing and updating product listings, including product descriptions, imagery, pricing and stock information.
- Supporting website merchandising, building category pages and implementing promotions.
- Uploading and updating website content, landing pages, banners and campaigns.
- Producing regular sales, traffic and website performance reports.
- Working collaboratively with marketing, customer service, warehouse and design teams.
- Supporting ecommerce projects, general administration and resolving website issues.

What we're looking for:
- Some experience or exposure to ecommerce, Shopify or a similar platform, although graduates will be considered.
- A degree in Marketing, Ecommerce, Business, Retail or a related subject would be beneficial.
- A genuine interest in ecommerce, digital marketing and online retail.
- Good attention to detail, particularly when working with product information and pricing.
- Confident using Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong written communication skills and an interest in creating engaging online content.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
- A willingness to learn new systems and develop within a fast-paced team.
