Ecommerce Coordinator

37.5 hours per week

We are looking for an organised and proactive Ecommerce Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operation of our ecommerce website and online catalogue. Working closely with Technology, Procurement, Marketing and suppliers, you will maintain accurate and engaging product content, improve the customer journey and help maximise online sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Procurement and suppliers to identify, onboard and maintain ecommerce products.
  • Create and manage accurate product information, including descriptions, keywords, images, variants, delivery charges and promotional details.
  • Format, quality-check and synchronise product data across the Product Information Management system and ecommerce website.
  • Organise and optimise the online catalogue to improve searchability, navigation and the overall user experience.
  • Support Marketing with communications about new suppliers, products and special offers.
  • Investigate website issues, coordinate solutions with the Technology team and ecommerce partner, and test new features before launch.
  • Analyse sales trends, website analytics and member feedback to produce actionable insights and recommend improvements.
  • Support colleagues and wider business needs during busy periods.

About You

  • Strong administration, organisation and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
  • Experience of managing data or digital content using content management systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables, and confidence using Microsoft Office and other digital platforms.
  • A proactive, methodical and resilient approach, with the initiative to solve problems and improve ways of working.
  • Experience with ecommerce or website administration, Google Analytics, product administration, data visualisation or image-editing tools would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS, website troubleshooting, ERP/CRM systems or the agricultural sector would also be beneficial.
