Ecommerce Trading Executive
London | Hybrid | Temporary role – several months
We’re working with an exciting lifestyle retailer to find an Ecommerce Trading Executive to join their team on a temporary basis for several months.
This is a great opportunity for an ecommerce professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced trading environment and wants to play a hands-on role in driving online performance.
The Role
As Ecommerce Trading Executive, you’ll support the day-to-day trading of the brand’s ecommerce site, ensuring customers have a compelling, commercially focused online experience.
You’ll work closely with teams across ecommerce, merchandising, marketing and creative to maximise sales, conversion and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day trading and optimisation of the ecommerce site
- Monitor sales, conversion, traffic and other key trading KPIs, identifying opportunities and areas for improvement
- Manage onsite content, product merchandising, navigation and promotional activity
- Support the delivery of seasonal campaigns, launches and key trading moments
- Work with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure products and campaigns are effectively represented online
- Analyse trading performance and provide regular reporting and insights
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities
- Help deliver an engaging, commercially focused customer journey
- Support onsite testing and optimisation to improve conversion and sales
- Ensure product and promotional content is accurate, timely and aligned with brand guidelines

About You
We’re looking for someone with previous ecommerce trading experience, ideally within a retail, fashion, lifestyle or consumer brand environment.

You’ll be commercially minded, highly organised and confident working with ecommerce data and analytics. You’ll also have a good eye for detail and understand what makes a strong online customer experience.
You’ll be:
- Experienced in ecommerce trading or ecommerce merchandising
- Comfortable analysing sales and performance data
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
- Commercially aware with a strong customer focus
- Confident working cross-functionally with different teams
- Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach
- Comfortable working at pace in a dynamic retail environment
