eCommerce Customer Development Manager
Location: Will be on site in client location (Hatfield)
Duration: 7-8 months (maternity)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Roles and Responsibilities
Kenvue is seeking a motivated and driven high-performing individual to join our growing UK eCommerce team as eCommerce Customer Development Manager on a 1-year fixed term contract. Reporting into the Business Unit Head, the primary objective of the eCommerce CDM role is to support delivery of customer revenue targets by driving increased eCommerce sales and winning share across all categories Kenvue plays in. You will lead the execution of customer sales and marketing programs and have ownership of the customer relationships. This will include influencing & executing shopper strategies, driving assortment, pricing, operational set-up as well as leading customer negotiations and annual business plans. This will involve:
Key Accountabilities
Internally & externally, the day-to-day lead and owner for your business with responsibilities including:
- Full accurate forecasting and P&L ownership, delivering on specified business targets (sales, spend and profit targets - INS, TCI, NTS, Net GP)
- Partner with squads, digital teams and commercial strategy teams to identify and execute eCommerce opportunities, keeping the business informed of any progress/challenges and subsequent help needed
- Ensure we have an ‘outside in’ lens on the business looking at competitor activities in the eCommerce channel and in your account. Analyse channel performance, and create plans to optimize top and bottom-line
- Support eCommerce customer service teams and supply chain to ensure processes are operating efficiently
- Follow standard methodologies to improve presence on eCommerce websites: actively implementing customer plans, SKU and product detail page improvements, pricing, promotion, etc.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, especially within FMCG e-commerce, health, and beauty sectors
- Building positive relationships with your key contacts/buyers
- Designing and executing great business plans including negotiating the implementation
- Build and lead promotional activities in line with Kenvue corporate guidelines
- Propose and pilot new e-commerce tactics such as bundling, subscription models, or loyalty programs to drive engagement
- Analyse channel performance, and create plans to optimize top and bottom-line
- Identify share of voice opportunities to drive market out-performance
- Drive excellence in execution of New Product Introductions (NPI) and integrated brand campaigns, ensuring brand visibility and optimising customer engagement

How to Succeed
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3-4 years of account management experience
- Experience in retail account management, sales planning, account development for large online customers
- Previous negotiation experience
- Ability to drive strategy and change while implementing, analysing and reporting on numerous concurrent projects. Ability to navigate well in ambiguity.
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to read, manipulate and understand data in order to make effective commercial decisions
- Highly organised and able to run multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritise projects and tasks
- High level of autonomy and enjoy networking to achieve results

Benefits
This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 7-8 month duration and has a strong chance of extension.
