Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager
Buxton
Salary £50-55k
Primarily office based
This is a business with massive career opportunity following significant investment two years ago and a change to ambitious new ownership. The business is in serious growth mode, with multiple taproom venues across the region, more in the pipeline, and a fast growing online shop.
They're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded E-Commerce & Digital Manager to grow and maximise some of their most important and exciting sales channels. You'll own the commercial performance of their own ecommerce platform, third-party online retailers and marketplaces, as well as prospecting new digital partners. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll work closely with the Marketing Manager, Social Media Executive and wider team to connect commercial, digital and brand activity.
The role
- Owning the performance and development of the online shop, including migrating the current platform to Shopify
- Developing and delivering an annual ecommerce trading plan aligned with commercial, marketing and NPD plans
- Owning online range, pricing, promotions, merchandising, content and customer experience
- Growing conversion, average order value, repeat purchase and customer retention
- Managing and growing key third-party online retail and marketplace accounts, including account plans, sales targets and profitability
- Identifying and developing new ecommerce and digital sales opportunities
- Managing commercial negotiations, tenders and trading agreements with retail partners
- Developing a paid media, email and social strategy that supports ecommerce growth and key trading moments
- Owning annual sales forecasts and budgets, tracking performance against revenue, margin, rate of sale, conversion, AOV and retention

The person we're looking for will have experience in:

- Growing sales through ecommerce, digital trading, and online retail
- Working comfortably with revenue, margin, forecasts, budgets and the commercial levers that drive growth
- Ecommerce, paid media, email, social and analytics
- Strong negotiation, confidently managing commercial conversations, tenders and partnerships
- Being analytical and rigorous, using data to make decisions and improve performance
- Being organised and accountable, comfortable owning your own plans and numbers
- Beer, drinks, FMCG, retail or another fast moving consumer environment is useful but not essential
