Whytematter Staffing Solutions is recruiting an Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Executive on behalf of our client, an established international manufacturer of consumer products.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused individual to support the continued growth of the client’s international ecommerce business.

Main Purpose of the Role

You will support ecommerce growth across online marketplaces and direct-to-consumer channels through product creation, digital advertising, promotional activity and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and optimise online product listings, ensuring product information, imagery and content are accurate, engaging and consistent.
  • Support ecommerce trading activity, including product launches, promotions, pricing, merchandising and seasonal campaigns.
  • Plan, manage and optimise paid advertising across ecommerce, search and social media platforms.
  • Monitor sales, website traffic, conversion rates and advertising performance to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to develop effective product, advertising and promotional content.
  • Improve online performance through increased product visibility, enhanced product discovery, stronger content and conversion optimisation.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports on ecommerce KPIs, performance trends and recommended actions.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, agencies and external commercial partners.

Required Skills and Experience

  • A third-level qualification in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, Digital Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience within ecommerce, digital marketing, retail or a similar commercial environment.
  • Experience creating, managing or supporting paid digital advertising campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret ecommerce and campaign data and translate findings into practical actions.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience using ecommerce platforms, online marketplaces or product information management systems.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, Shopify or comparable digital platforms.
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central or Amazon Advertising would be beneficial but is not essential, as training will be provided.
