Director, Digital Commerce
A leading global, guest-facing organisation is seeking an exceptional Director, Digital Commerce to lead its digital commerce function and own the end-to-end customer journey.
Reporting at senior leadership level, you’ll define the digital commerce vision, strategy and roadmap, translating customer needs and business objectives into measurable growth in revenue and satisfaction. You’ll take ownership of the full digital conversion funnel, optimising the online experience, digital merchandising and journey to remove friction, build confidence and maximise conversion.
You’ll champion a data-led approach, using customer insight, analytics and performance reporting to shape investment decisions, prioritise the roadmap and identify opportunities for commercial growth. You’ll oversee the digital platform and supporting infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability and seamless integration across the wider technology ecosystem. You’ll also drive personalisation, testing, experimentation and the adoption of emerging technologies to continually enhance the digital customer experience and maintain a competitive edge. As a people leader, you’ll build, coach and develop a high-performing Digital Commerce team, setting clear standards for accountability, pace, quality and continuous improvement. Working across Marketing, Commercial, Product, Technology and other global functions, you’ll influence stakeholders, remove barriers and ensure a consistent, compelling and commercially effective digital experience.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive senior digital commerce leadership experience, a proven track record of owning online commerce or journeys at scale, strong platform and analytics expertise, commercial and budget management capability, and the ability to lead effectively within a complex, global organisation while championing inclusion, integrity, sustainability and customer experience. You will have strong Digital Product experience and experience working in luxury or for a product or service with a long consideration for purchase (High Price product or service).
