We are working with an ambitious, fast-growing consumer brand group that is building a portfolio of beauty, personal care and lifestyle brands, and they are looking for an experienced eCommerce Director to lead their global digital growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves building and scaling brands, understands what it takes to drive profitable growth and wants genuine ownership of the digital commercial strategy.

The business acquires and develops high-potential consumer brands, providing the investment, expertise and infrastructure to help them scale internationally while maintaining what makes each brand unique.

They are now looking for a commercially minded, hands-on eCommerce leader who can take ownership of their global DTC and digital trading channels, with a particular focus on accelerating growth in the US.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the wider commercial leadership team, you will take full responsibility for digital trading performance across the brand portfolio, including DTC websites, marketplaces such as Amazon and Walmart, social commerce and emerging digital channels.

You will own revenue, margin, profitability and customer growth, setting the strategy while remaining close enough to the detail to make things happen.

With an established team to lead and develop, this role offers the opportunity to shape how multiple consumer brands grow across international markets.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the London HQ.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
