Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and commercial E-Commerce Executive to join our team on-site in the Manchester area. In this role, you will take ownership of our online storefront and digital acquisition efforts—managing day-to-day website operations, visual merchandising, paid digital marketing, and promotional campaigns.
Working closely with cross-functional teams across content, inventory, and design, you will manage paid channels, monitor Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), leverage site analytics, and optimize user journeys to hit ambitious sales targets and scale our online presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Paid Marketing & Performance Media: Help plan, manage, and optimize performance marketing campaigns across key digital channels (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads) to drive qualified traffic and scalable revenue.
- ROAS & Efficiency Tracking: Track and report on key media efficiency metrics—including ROAS, CAC, CPC, and blended return—ensuring paid spend aligns with budget goals and profitability targets.
- Site Merchandising & Operations: Oversee product listings, catalogue categorization, inventory updates, pricing, and promotional site assets to ensure an engaging online store experience.
- Performance & Analytics: Monitor daily site traffic, sales conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and customer behaviour metrics to inform data-driven growth strategies.
- Campaign Execution: Partner with the creative and social teams to test ad copy, visual assets, and landing pages for optimal conversion and campaign performance.
- Marketplace & Account Management: Oversee operational relationships and product performance across third-party marketplaces and partner platforms.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Identify friction points in the digital funnel and test strategies to turn paid traffic into high-converting orders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
