About The Role
This is an exciting time for Derek Rose. We're preparing to launch a new website, and you'll be the one to bring it to life, building new pages that grow brand desire and keep the momentum going in our thriving DTC business.
We're looking for an Ecommerce Experience Manager to own the Derek Rose website and ecommerce platform, creating on-brand, data-informed customer experiences.
You'll work side by side with our Ecommerce Manager. You'll own our Shopify platform and tech roadmap, collaborate with our web development partner, and lead the Ecommerce Executive. The role suits someone who cares about detail, uses data to make decisions, and wants every page to feel as considered as our product.
What You'll Be Doing
Site & Customer Journey
- Build and look after pages across the site, including product listing pages, product pages, the brand hub and campaign pages.
- Set the site merchandising strategy so the right products are in front of customers at the right time, with the Ecommerce Executive handling the day-to-day merchandising.
- Own search and product discovery, including setting up and maintaining filters.
- Own the testing and optimisation programme: use data and customer insight to find where the journey can be better, run tests to prove what works, and feed the results into the roadmap.
- Work with the Ecommerce Manager to make sure paid traffic lands on relevant, in-stock pages.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Own the process for getting new products live: plan launches with Merchandising and Design, and set up the workflow and support the Ecommerce Executive needs to get products on site on time, with complete and accurate information.
- Work with Design and Merchandising to capture the right product information from the start, so every product page gives customers what they need to buy with confidence.
- Work with IT and Finance, who own the ERP, to keep product data accurate between the ERP and our ecommerce systems, with a clear master system for each type of data.
- Lead our product feed strategy with the Ecommerce Manager and our performance marketing agency, improving which products go into each feed and how they appear in ads, including new templates.
- Own site tracking, making sure changes are managed properly and our data taxonomy is relevant and easy to use.
- Own site analytics: use data and tools to understand what is happening on the site, and turn it into clear actions for you and the teams around you.
Platform & Development
- Act as product owner for the website.

- Manage our web development partner and run development cycles from brief to release.

- Make sure apps and integrations are kept up to date and working properly.
